I think Paul proved that he has a great sense of style (when he's in the mood), and can put together a really great looking, workable wardrobe for a long casual weekend in the public eye. He combined some really nice neutrals in different textures, and his favorite neutral--black--with jeans, a few well chosen accessories (scarves), and a pair of classic 'dress up or down' black boots (which I like to think were slightly 'Beatle' inspired
Every piece worked with every other piece, and I thought he looked smashing the entire weekend! He achieved the perfect 'style balance' for a man his age: 'hip'--without trying to look too young and trendy; classic--without looking passé; and stylish--without looking like he tried too hard. I thought he looked masculine and wonderful.
Let's have another gander at that well pulled together wardrobe--shall we? (These are not my pics, but rather a compilation of many people's--hope they don't mind I used them here!)
Our first glimpse of Paul (avec 'Fangirls'!): in a gorgeous gray woolen suit with his signature black 'T' underneath, set off with a red patterned silk kerchief in the breast pocket, and an artfully tied soft black scarf at his neck. The words 'natty', 'dapper', and 'hot Brit' come to mind--don't you think? I'll bet he drove the flight attendants to distraction in it...

Day 2: Ready to get busy at his first panel: Paul made a great entrance by pairing his signature black 'T' this time with a slightly weathered cotton taupe colored jacket that contrasted nicely with relaxed fit blue jeans. His black boots 'classed' it up a notch, and he added interest with another beautiful soft, fringed scarf--this time in 'oatmeal'. (The scarf was quickly discarded--due, I would guess, to the fact that the building was excessively warm.) 'Comfortable' and 'weekend sexy' are the way I'd describe this look--'nuff said.

Day 3: Well, the signature black 'T' had to make at least one solo appearance!

Day 3: Autographs for the fangirls in a classic, long sleeved black ribbed cotton(?) sweater that zipped bottom to top, again with jeans. The sleeves were slightly 'over-long', too--another signature PMG look we love--adds to the 'hipness' factor, too. We got to watch him saunter past on his way down the hall (sending a little 'Hiya!' our way

Day 3: Yeah, we know he didn't bring this with him--but he did choose to wear it, and it was the last thing many of us saw him in! Proud to say we contributed to an outstanding TARDIS wardrobe with: zee (zed?) 'Chicago Bears' jacket!! He looked amazing in it--the color was perfect (check out what it's doing with those eyes!

And there you have it--Paul's TARDIS '04 wardrobe.
WELL DONE, PAUL!!!
And btw, how do you tie those scarves?
